When Apple suggested I upgrade to their latest Macintosh software version, I hit “Upgrade”. Little did I know the problems that would ensue. For three weeks I have wrestled with technology. I was losing the battle and my mind in the process.
I spent several days trying to correct the problem thinking I had done something to cause my printer to stop working. I tried everything… uninstalling, reinstalling, downloading printer software directly from the company. The only thing I didn’t do is throw it out the window and trust me, I was tempted. Honestly, it drove me to tears.
Through investigating online, I discovered that even savvy technical gurus were having problems printing since the last Apple download. Good news…I didn’t cause this problem. Bad news…I still had a problem with no solution in sight.
Then, as if that wasn’t frustrating enough, I was unable to connect to the internet through my laptop though able to connect with my IPad. New problem with a very strange error message.
Every day I worked frantically to fix these problems to no avail. At my wits end, I turned it off and went to bed.
Last night, I got down on my knees and asked God to give me direction and lead me to someone who could fix my technological problems. I turned on the computer and printer to try one more time. I attempted to connect to the internet, this time I was able to connect with absolutely no problem. I held my breath as I turned on my printer and hit “Print”. Guess what…it printed!
Now I know you may be thinking, oh they must have fixed the problem or it was just a glitch. But I know my Heavenly Dad chose to answer my prayer and fix my tech problems.
Seems “crazy” in the scheme of things because there are other prayers much more important than my being able to print. Why God chose to answer this tech request in such an amazing way is beyond me. But I know this…He is GOOD and He is trustworthy. He answers prayer according to His good will and purpose.
I know this too…God is with us in EVERYTHING, EVERY WAY, EVERY DAY and EVERY MINUTE.
I got back on my knees and thanked Him, God Most High, Supreme over all, even my printer.
